Hello AIIP members! I am writing this just after the AIIP Business Bootcamp – Idea to Infopreneur day-long event completed. Thank you to the AIIP members who spoke at this event (Denise Carter, Janel Kinlaw, June Boyle, Elizabeth Hutchinson) and to those who attended! And of course a BIG thank you to Denise Carter who not only spoke but also served as organizer, coordinator, and moderator for this terrific event. It was so great to connect with some new members and share experiences. I am very much looking forward to Bootcamp II – Infopreneur Evolution (see more on this below). And - our AIIP25 Symposium is fast approaching. I know I am looking forward to learning from our amazing keynote speakers – and to connecting with my fellow AIIP members across the globe during this event. I hope I will see you there! Our keynote speakers will be addressing some especially pertinent information, including networking, building your personal brand, building confidence as you grow your business, and understanding human-centered AI. Showing up and promoting myself and my business is always a challenge for me, and I know I will be learning some valuable skills from our speakers. Whether you are attending AIIP25 or not – I do hope that you are on the lookout for other resources for business and professional development. To grow our infopreneur businesses, we need to continually be learning and connecting with others. Where do you learn how to grow your business? And where do you go to find new customers? Share your insights on AIIP-L – and we will continue the conversation as we transition over to our new Mighty Networks platform! (Join our Town Hall meeting on April 3 for more on this) One additional note – AIIP is always looking for volunteers to help keep things running for members. Roles can be short-term, like joining an Ad Hoc committee (such as the one that recommended the new Communications Platform) or longer-term, like joining a committee. In general, the work load is minimal and the opportunity to connect with your peers and learn something new is huge! Check out the current list of openings here. Or email volunteers@aiip.org to learn more about which opportunity is the right fit for you! In this update: - Congratulations New Board Members
- Grow Your Business with an AIIP Boot Camp
- Congratulations to our Retirees!

AIIP25 Boot Camp II - Infopreneur Evolution
The Business Bootcamp I (Idea to Infopreneur) was well attended, with 14 registrants joining the speakers on March 26. Initial feedback has been very positive!
For those of you who have an established infopreneur business, don’t miss out on an opportunity to find new ways to grow your business. Join us for Infopreneur Evolution, a workshop for experienced infopreneurs who want to productize a service. This event takes place on Wednesday April 30. I hope to see you there!
Registration is OPEN on the Bootcamp page of the AIIP website.
Congratulations to our Retirees!
We had a terrific retirement party on March 18 to celebrate AIIP members who are retiring from their infopreneur careers (but hopefully not from AIIP!). It was so fun to celebrate these long careers, hear some fascinating stories, and learn some lessons from these experienced infopreneurs.
If you couldn’t make the party, then be sure to check out the recording, which is coming soon to the AIIP website. It was my pleasure to host this party!
