Membership Referral Program
It's always a good time to refer a new member to AIIP!
Members earn a $25 credit when they refer a new member to join AIIP. Credits can be applied to your next membership renewal or AIIP conference registration.
Ready to earn $25?
- Tell fellow info pros about AIIP's membership benefits: community, virtual learning, and more.
- Share your story of how AIIP supported your success, and encourage them to join.
- So that you get credit, ask the new member to mention you in the “Referred by” space in their online application.
That's all there is to it!
Q: Do new members need to qualify for Full AIIP membership to count toward a Membership Referral credit?
A: New members who join at either the Full or Associate level will generate a Membership Referral credit for the member who refers them to AIIP.
Q: How will AIIP know who referred a new member?
A: The AIIP Office looks at the “Referred to AIIP by/Other?” field when processing new membership applications. AIIP can assign the referral credit only if the new member completes that field with the referring member’s name. If the new member mentions more than one referrer, the first person named will receive the credit.
Q: How can I use my Membership Referral credit?
A: You can apply your Membership Referral credit toward either your next membership renewal or your next registration for the AIIP annual conference event. (Note: The Membership Referral credit has no cash equivalent and cannot be used for any other purpose or substituted for any other prize.)
Q: How do I redeem my Membership Referral credit?
A: Members who earn Membership Referral credits will receive an email from AIIP notifying them of their credit(s) and how to redeem it.
Q: How long will the Membership Referral Program be active?
A: The program is active year-round to allow ample time to nurture referrals. Any changes in this program will be communicated to all members.
If you have other questions about the program, please contact the AIIP Membership Director at email@example.com.
