Hello AIIP members!

Here in Wisconsin we are being treated to a bit of warm(er) weather after a week of sub-zero temps.  It is starting to feel like spring is on the way!  And with that comes our AIIP annual event!  I so enjoyed seeing many of you in person in St. Louis last April – but I am equally excited for our International focused virtual event this year!

The photo above shows my copies of the books written by three of our five keynote speakers.  I am so thrilled to have each of these speakers joining us to share their wisdom and advice to help each of us grow our own infopreneur business.  Have you picked up their books yet? I am looking forward to hearing our keynote speakers share their insights – and also to the many networking events that will help us all better connect with each other – across the globe!

Your AIIP Board has been busy with all the planning leading up to our upcoming Annual Business Meeting, which will take place on Thursday April 24 at noon Eastern.  More information will be forthcoming.

Related to that, just a reminder to keep an eye out for the voting ballot for our new board members, which should be arriving in your In Box next week.  I am so pleased to see our talented slate of candidates as announced by email on February 20!  Check out their profiles from the “AIIP 2025 Elections Slate” email.  And if anyone is interested in being added to the voting ballot for any of the positions, all nominations must be received by elections@aiip.org no later than Thursday March 6 (one week from today).

A sincere thank you to everyone nominated for volunteering your time to help AIIP serve its members and grow its member base!  And speaking of volunteers, another reminder that nominations for the Pam Wegmann Award and the Sue Rugge Memorial Award are open – and due by Friday March 7.  See more details below.

One additional note – AIIP is always looking for volunteers to help keep things running for members.  Roles can be short-term, like joining an Ad Hoc committee (such as the one that recommended the new Communications Platform) or longer-term, like joining a committee. In general, the work load is minimal and the opportunity to connect with your peers and learn something new is huge!  Check out the current list of openings here.   Or email volunteers@aiip.org to learn more about which opportunity is the right fit for you!

Share the Love - 2025 Award Nominations

I am just echoing an email you should have received on Feb. 19 from the Awards Committee.  Nominations are open for the Sue Rugge Memorial Award and the Pam Wegmann Award – and the due date for award nominations is Friday March 7.  Winners will be announced at the Symposium Awards Ceremony on Thursday April 10 just before the close of the Symposium.

As shared by the Awards Committee:

“The Pam Wegmann Award is given to a member who has excelled in broadening the international outlook and character of AIIP.  The winner can be from anywhere – as long as they have contributed to AIIP’s global growth.”  Send nominations for this award to awards@aiip.org and include the name of the nominee along with a short recommendation letter of 300 words or less.

“The Sue Rugge Memorial Award is given to an AIIP member who has made a significant difference in the business life of an AIIP member or members through personal support, assistance and/or mentoring.  Selfless support deserves recognition.”   “Please submit nominations for the Sue Rugge Memorial Award using this form to provide your recommendation for a deserving member. “
