Hello AIIP members!

It was good to see some of you at our recent Town Hall Meeting!  At that meeting, the Board recognized Connie Clem as our volunteer for this quarter’s spotlight (see more below) and shared a few updates, which I have summarized below.

AIIP25 Boot Camps

Did you know that in addition to our incredible AIIP25 Symposium, we are also offering TWO Business Bootcamps?

Bootcamp #1 - Idea to Infopreneur

This first boot camp will take place on Wednesday March 26 and is geared toward aspiring information business owners, taking you through 10 steps from idea to launch over the course of the boot camp.

Bootcamp #2 – Infopreneur Evolution

This second boot camp will take place on Wednesday April 30 and is geared toward experienced infopreneurs looking to scale their business, with a focus on productizing existing services.

Stay tuned for more information and registration details on the Bootcamp page of the AIIP website.

New AIIP Communication Platform

Exciting news!  AIIP is introducing a new communication platform to improve communication among members and make it easier for us to share information and feel more connected!

As was shared at the Town Hall, the Ad Hoc Member Forum Committee has recommended to the Board to purchase a subscription with Mighty Networks following their research.  This platform will allow us to extend the capabilities currently available through AIIP-L, so we can share photos, images, websites, and more!

AIIP-L will continue to available to members while we introduce this new platform.  If you are interested in learning more by volunteering to test out the platform and work on the transition from AIIP-L to Mighty Networks, please email Volunteers@aiip.org.

And a big Thank You to the members of this committee:  Elizabeth Hutchinson, Susan Baerwald, Annie McMillian, Julie Jennings and co-chairs Margaret Harrison and Janel Kinlaw for their ongoing work.

For those of you who weren’t able to join in on our Quarterly Town Hall meeting last week, you can now access the recording of the meeting here

One additional note – AIIP is always looking for volunteers to help keep things running for members.  Roles can be short-term, like joining an Ad Hoc committee (such as the one that recommended the new Communications Platform) or longer-term, like joining a committee. In general, the work load is minimal and the opportunity to connect with your peers and learn something new is huge!  Check out the current list of openings here.   Or email volunteers@aiip.org to learn more about which opportunity is the right fit for you!

Quarterly Volunteer Spotlight

Please join me in recognizing and celebrating our Volunteer for this quarter’s Spotlight – Connie Clem!

Connie has served for many years as our website leader, transforming our online presence and adding many new features and SEO capabilities to the website.  She also created documentation for future website management to make the job easier for the next website chair.  Her depth of knowledge and technical capabilities have helped AIIP build up the website to become a valuable asset.  We couldn’t have done it without you, Connie!  Thank you so much for all you have done!
