Hello AIIP members!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week here in the U.S., I want to express my gratitude for you as an AIIP member.  Thank you for supporting this organization with your membership. The Board and our team of volunteers work hard to deliver value to members through our virtual events, peer-to-peer groups, connections to other organizations, educational content – and, of course, our annual event!

A recent study in Associations Now journal shared that the top two reasons members join an association like AIIP are

(1) “to connect with other members/professionals like me”

(2) “to learn and participate in training or education”

I hope you are taking advantage of all AIIP has to offer when it comes to connecting and learning! 

Sign up for AIIP-L if you’re not already there.  Check the calendar for upcoming virtual events.  Reach out to your peers for a little accountability.  Enhance your own resume by volunteering.  Learn something new from the recordings of past virtual events.  And make sure you budget in the upcoming AIIP Symposium!

Is your solopreneur career coming to a close?  Are you heading toward retirement (or perhaps already there)?  

When you own your own business, who gives you a retirement party?  AIIP does, that’s who! 

Please let me know if you are already – or planning to be - retired before April 2025.  We want to celebrate your years of accomplishment and learn from your wisdom!  But first we need to know WHO among us is planning to retire. 

The retirement party will be in March and we will plan some fun activities for those retiring and those just getting started.  Sorry – no gold watch or cake!  But know that your contributions as an infopreneur are valued and we want to celebrate your career.  Contact me if you want to be a part of the retirement celebration – which will start before the party in March!
