Many of us have answered the call to be volunteers at AIIP over the years, ranging from short-term assignments to board service. What we have each gained in return are new skills, experiences and connections that we have been able to bring back to our businesses, our clients, other volunteer efforts, and even our personal lives. It has been shown that volunteering offers many benefits: it connects you to others, is good for your mind and body, can advance your career, and brings fun and fulfillment to your life. For solopreneurs, the experience can be especially invaluable.
If you’ve been an AIIP volunteer, or are just thinking about becoming one, join serial AIIP volunteer June Boyle to hear what she’s learned and applied from her experiences, and share stories with fellow members about the benefits of service at AIIP.
Meeting is from noon-1pm Eastern time.
