Pam Wegmann International Award

The Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) has created a new award. The Pam Wegmann International Award was established to recognize the contributions made by a member of the Association who lives outside of North America. 

The first annual Pam Wegmann International Award recipient is Michele Bate of Archer Van den Broeck, located in Northampton, United Kingdom. Bate has been a member of AIIP since 2002 and has served on multiple committees. Her contributions and service have helped to spread the word about AIIP membership to an international audience.    

The selection is based on the contributions that the member has made to AIIP. The award recipient is selected by the AIIP Board of Directors. 

The award was initiated in 2011 and is named in memory of Pam Wegmann, AIIP President from 2002 to 2003. Ms. Wegmann was the owner of Information Matters, LLC, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
