About
Tom Froehlich
Thomas J. Froehlich is a Professor at Kent State University and serves as chief architect and Program Director of the interdisciplinary Master of Science in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management program. His education includes a Ph.D. in Philosophy (Duquesne University), an M.S. in Information Science (University of Pittsburgh), M.A. in Philosophy (Pennsylvania State University), and B.A. in English Literature (St. Vincent College). He teaches in the areas of information architecture, knowledge management, ethical concerns of information professionals, information science, online information systems, network and software resources, and user interface design. In addition to national venues, he has taught workshops, seminars or classes, or made presentations in 24 countries from South America through Europe to the Far East. He has worked with UNESCO and the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA), producing a publication for IFLA's professional series, Survey and Analysis of Ethical and Legal Issues Facing Library and Information Services and has given presentations at meetings of the European and American Information Architecture Summits, the American Society for Information Science and Technology, the International Center for Information Ethics, the Special Library Association and other various national and international venues. Original articles and some of his English publications, primarily on ethical issues, have been translated into German, Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Catalan and Hungarian.

Dianna Wiggins
Dianna Wiggins most recently worked with Y-USA as social knowledge manager for the Knowledge Management Department of YMCA of the USA. Her duties included helping YMCA stakeholders to learn about and apply social media to meeting their objectives, as well as to develop and implement online communities for sharing and stewarding knowledge. Prior to joining Y-USA, Dianna served as knowledge sharing manager for global restaurant operations teams at McDonald's Corporation in Oak Brook, Ill. Dianna is the 2010 president of the Illinois state chapter of the Special Libraries Association, an international association for information professionals.
About Deb Hunt
Deb is founder and Principal of Information Edge, which specializes in
enterprise content management, knowledge services, professional
research, and library creation and automation. Deb is active in AIIP,
serving on the Board of Directors from 2001-2003 and the Annual
Conference Committee from 2005-2009. She was AIIP Conference Chair in
2001. Deb has been a member of SLA since 1986 and currently serves on
the SLA Board as a Director. She was the recipient of the 2008 SLA
Presidential Citation and was honored by Information World Review (IWR)
magazine for her work on behalf of SLA to spearhead and implement the
innovative "23 Things" program. Deb also received the SLA Karen J.
Switt Management Leadership Award in 2009. She is a past president
(twice) of BayNet, the San Francisco Bay Area Library and Information
Network.
