About vmatarese.jpgValerie Matarese

Valerie Matarese, Ph.D., is an independent information professional in Italy. Her business, UpTo infotechnologies, focuses on quality information and offers professional services both in information research (the "find" of FUMSI) and in scientific communication (helping researchers publish: the "share" of FUMSI). Both areas require the ability to handle complex topics, to work with precision, and to write efficiently. The information research activity is specialized in finding business and governmental information about Italy - from Italian sources - for foreign clients who use English at work. Emphasis is placed on helping clients understand Italian information and appreciate its potential limits. Long-time member of AIIP, Valerie Matarese entered the information business after having worked as a researcher in university settings on both US coasts and at two multinational firms in the food and drug industries.
